TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Effective Date: March 2026
These Terms and Conditions govern participation in TERAVARNA Young Masters, which is an initiative of the TERAVARNA Art Gallery (herein referred to as “TERAVARNA”, “We”, “Us” or “Our”). The participant and their legal parent or guardian acknowledge that they are legally bound by these Terms by registering, entering artwork, and participating in TERAVARNA Young Masters.
Overview
TERAVARNA Young Masters is a global project in the sphere of art, which is targeted specifically at children between the ages of 6 and 15 years. The program provides opportunities to take part in juried art competitions, online exhibitions that are curated, online showcases, and awards that are recognition-based. This endeavor is to develop and cultivate young creative talent as well as offer them an age-sensitive, secure, and internationally-profiled platform for artistic expression.
Eligibility
Children between the ages of 5 and 16 years are welcome to participate. All the works of art should be the unique works of the child participating. TERAVARNA has the right to demand evidence of age or identity during any part of the selection. Any form of misrepresentation of age or authorship stands to be immediately disqualified.
Mandatory Parental or Guardian Consent (NOC)
Since all participants are underage, a parental or a legal guardian certified No Objection Certificate (NOC) is obligatory. It is necessary to ensure that the guardian desires to make the minor a participant of TERAVARNA Young Masters and that the guardian accepts these Terms and Conditions on behalf of the minor. It should also allow TERAVARNA to publish the artwork and a few identifiable information like the first name of the child, the age bracket, and the country.
Any unacceptable NOC could lead to disqualification with no refund. TERAVARNA has the right to verify the identity of parents and demand supporting documents to the same effect.
Submission Guidelines
Every piece of work, which will be presented, should be the original creation of the participant and should not violate any third-party intellectual property rights. Artworks that have explicit, illegal, defamatory, hateful, and inappropriate content will not be accepted.
TERAVARNA reserves the right to remove or reject any submission that fails to meet such standards or determination of inappropriateness in its own judgment.
Intellectual Property
The copyright of all submitted artworks lies with the young artist. However, by submission of artworks, the parent or legal guardian licences TERAVARNA to a non-exclusive, royalty-free, global licence to exhibit, reproduce, issue, and promote the artwork on its behalf with references to TERAVARNA Young Masters. This can consist of applications on the website, digital exhibitions, social media sites, in newsletters, and promotional materials.
Unless a written request for removal is submitted by the parent or guardian, the artwork may remain displayed for archival or promotional purposes.
Competitions and Awards
TERAVARNA Young Masters may organize juried competitions on a periodic basis. An independent panel of jurors does the selection. The awards include certificates of recognition, online exhibition placements, featured showcases, and other non-monetary recognitions. In case of announcement of cash prizes, they are subject to availability and may vary depending on the competition.
Participation does not guarantee selection or receipt of any award. Jury decisions are final and non-negotiable.
Fees and Refund Policy
Competitions or exhibitions require an entry fee. All fees are non-refundable to any extent other than technical faults solely attributable to TERAVARNA. Artwork submission constitutes acknowledgment that payment does not guarantee award or selection.
Online Safety and Privacy
TERAVARNA values the privacy and the safety of minors. Minimal possible identification details, such as first name, age group, and country, are subject to be publicly visible. No personal contact information will be published. The parents and guardians will ensure that they monitor all the communications and involvement in relation to the initiative.
Code of Conduct
The participants and their guardians understand that they will not be involved in harassment, defamation, and manipulation of competition processes, among other actions that can interfere with the integrity of the initiative. TERAVARNA has at its disposal the right to disqualify participants and limit future participation in such situations as the violation of policy.
Limitation of Liability
Participation in the TERAVARNA Young Masters is a voluntary activity. TERAVARNA will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from participation. The liability of TERAVARNA will not exceed the entry fee paid for the specific competition.
Modification and Termination
TERAVARNA will have the right to revise these Terms at any time. Revised Terms shall be effective upon publication. Further participation will amount to acceptance of any amendments. In case of non-compliance or misuse, TERAVARNA will suspend or terminate participation at its own discretion.
Governing Law
These Terms fall under the State of California, United States of America. The contractual disputes that emerge with respect to TERAVARNA Young Masters would be resolved according to the applicable laws in the United States.
